Spartan Australia launches multi-lap format in Wollongong
Spartan's new Multi-Lap Challenge lets runners complete as many 5km laps as possible in seven hours.
Spartan Australia launches a new race format at WIN Stadium in Wollongong on Saturday, October 10. Participants complete as many 5km laps of the obstacle course as they can in seven hours.
The Spartan Multi-Lap Challenge follows the growing backyard ultra trend. Local RAAF veteran Graham Williamson, 48, plans to compete.
After overcoming Achilles injuries and years of hesitation, he has become a committed Spartan racer. He has competed across Australia and Fiji.
Williamson sees this new challenge as a stepping stone to his goal of tackling the Spartan Ultra event.
