Bridgewater sweeps all grades to claim Loddon Valley premierships
Bridgewater won all three senior football grades, reserves, under-18s, and two netball flags in a single afternoon at Serpentine.
The Mean Machine delivered a flawless day, winning the under-18s, reserves, and senior football, plus A-reserve and B-reserve netball. In the senior final, Bridgewater crushed Marong 24.10 (154) to 8.7 (55), kicking a blistering 19-goal second half after leading by only four points at half-time.
Bridgewater's win was revenge for a loss 12 months earlier, with Lachie Sharp's side dominating the contest. The under-18s defeated MGYCW 11.13 (79) to 9.5 (59), while reserves beat Inglewood 14.5 (89) to 6.11 (47).
