Lucy (23) and Krysten (50), a mother-daughter duo, opened their instant restaurant Puggles on My Kitchen Rules. The name came from baby platypuses living on their 5-hectare Queensland property.
Jane, a NSW food stylist, immediately criticised the name as having no connection to food. Lucy and Krysten's menu offered beef tartare with truffle flatbread, paella, and mango coconut rice croissant for dessert.
Judge Manu Feildel praised the dessert as 'the best dish of the night.' Lucy and Krysten scored 72 out of 110 points.
They felt guests Jane and Shane showed disrespect by barely eating the food.
