St Kilda coach resigns as club tumbles to last place
St Kilda coach Nick Dal Santo resigned as the club crashed to last place after making finals last year.
Dal Santo stepped down Friday, ending his tenure before the club's final four matches. St Kilda made the finals last season for the first time in seven years but have crashed this year, winless after two months.
An interim coach will take the final three games. The club needs a full-time permanent coach with women's football experience for next season.
An independent review led by Brad Lloyd will examine the collapse. Similar reviews at Richmond and Carlton preceded their turnarounds.
