Cooper Hall wins Rising Star award after 18-game debut season
Cooper Hall won the Ovens and Murray Rising Star award. He played all 18 games in his first season.
Hall is a 178-centimetre midfielder. He made his debut in round one and won his first two games.
He faced strong opposition, including former AFL player Michael Gibbons and the Wheeler brothers from Yarrawonga. This taught him plenty about senior football.
Hall is already working toward his next step. He trains with VFL club Werribee on Tuesday nights.
He has also emailed multiple clubs looking for a chance. Cooper Hall plans to move to Melbourne next year.
He hopes to land a spot on Werribee's list. But he says he'll stay at Lavington if that doesn't happen.
