Mosman Park town centre upgrade starts next week
First stage of $200,000 Glyde Street masterplan begins September 29 in Perth suburb.
Long-awaited improvements to Mosman Park's town centre will start next week after almost a decade of planning. The first phase of the Glyde Street masterplan kicks off September 29, focusing on the northern side between Stirling Highway and Monument Street.
Works will add new paving, garden beds, landscaping and bicycle racks outside Samson's Paddock. The $200,000 first stage is entirely funded by the Town of Mosman Park, without grant assistance.
Temporary parking closures and traffic changes will occur during construction. The work should complete by the end of October.
Future stages will include new street furniture, lighting, and gardens with First Nations and community artworks, with more work planned through 2028-29.
