Wodonga Raiders come back from 32-point deficit to reach grand final
Trailing by 32 points at three-quarter-time, Wodonga Raiders defeated Albury to reach their first grand final since 2010.
Wodonga Raiders trailed Albury by 32 points at three-quarter-time in last Sunday's semi-final. Wodonga kicked three straight goals after the break to stay alive.
Noah Gibson then kicked a spectacular 30-metre shot from near the boundary to close it to one goal. Cooper McElhinney's rundown tackle in the goal square set up the chance to level it, and he converted to send the game to extra time.
The Raiders beat minor premiers Albury in that extra period. They play Wangaratta in Sunday's Ovens and Murray thirds grand final.
It is their first grand final since 2010.
