Man admits to throwing bottles and pool ball at ute on Hume Highway
Kane Mott, 20, pleaded guilty to hurling about eight beer bottles and a pool ball at a ute during a high-speed chase on the Hume Highway near Albury.
The incident occurred on 22 June when Mott was a passenger in a silver Holden Commodore driven by his friend, the ex-partner of an 18-year-old woman in the ute ahead. As the Commodore chased the ute through heavy traffic, Mott hurled what was believed to be a pool ball at the driver's door, denting the panel.
Mott then hurled around eight empty beer bottles. Mott also displayed a long stainless steel spanner to the victims.
The woman in the ute told police she felt anxious and nervous. Mott pleaded guilty to two intimidation charges, damaging property and carrying a knife in a public place.
He faces sentencing on 22 September.
