A 28-year-old woman was found dead on a Volaris flight in Mexico
Mexican media say forensic findings linked her death to cardiorespiratory arrest.
A 28-year-old woman was found dead in her seat on Volaris flight 3358 from Tijuana to Tapachula. Passengers in Abidai Lopez Solis's row noticed she had not moved as others began to leave.
Emergency staff checked her vital signs and confirmed she had died. Early local media reports said the cause of death had not been established.
Later Mexican media reports said forensic findings linked her death to cardiorespiratory arrest. That means her heart and breathing stopped.
Those preliminary findings point to natural causes. The full autopsy report has not been publicly released.
Ms Lopez Solis was returning to Chiapas to reunite with family, according to local reports. Relatives identified her at the state prosecutor's office on Thursday.
Relatives then arranged for her body to be returned to her hometown of Acacoyagua for a funeral.
