Daylesford wins CHFL grand final for second premiership in three years
Daylesford beat Dunnstown 124-77 in the Central Highlands Football League grand final to claim a second premiership in three years.
Daylesford's experience in big games made the difference on Saturday, defeating Dunnstown 18.16 (124) to 11.11 (77). A devastating first-term blitz set up the win, with first-year Bulldog Harrison Kol kicking three goals to put Dunnstown on the back foot early.
Andrew Panayi finished with six goals for Daylesford, earning best-afield honours with a standout display in the third term. Dunnstown, playing in a grand final for the first time since 1999, lost key player Jordan Crone early.
