Jarrod Frankcombe, a 2019 premiership player and former captain, is taking over as head coach at Hillwood football club.
Jarrod Frankcombe will step into a head coaching role at Hillwood, taking over from Addison Cosslett. Frankcombe joined the club from Uni-Mowbray in 2017 and was captain in 2021 and 2022.
Turning 31 next year, Frankcombe said he wanted to make one last big commitment to football before stepping back. Hillwood believes the club has strong potential with their current group.
Frankcombe said the biggest challenge is convincing players to join, as many see the 15-minute distance from Mowbray as too far. He plans to focus on bringing young players into the senior ranks and building game plans for inexperienced players.
