Three-year-old Noah Woods found in pond after 27-hour search
Police recovered the body of Noah Woods from a pond 300 metres from where he disappeared in Suffolk.
Noah Woods, a non-verbal three-year-old, went missing from a playground in Brantham, Suffolk on Tuesday afternoon. Noah was being watched by his grandfather when he ran towards a pond near a housing development.
Police dive teams found his body in Decoy Pond on Wednesday, about 300 metres from the playground. The discovery is being treated as not suspicious but unexplained.
Superintendent Tom Pearse said the 27-hour search involved over 1,300 volunteers and multiple emergency services. The family has been informed.
