Truck driver charged over Bendigo student death at crossing
A 36-year-old truck driver has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection with Thom Hosking's death.
A 36-year-old truck driver from Sebastian has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving, and failing to give way at a pedestrian crossing. The charges relate to a collision on High Street in Bendigo that killed Thom Hosking, a 15-year-old Girton Grammar student, on October 10.
Thom was crossing the road on his way to school when the crash occurred. Police investigated the scene with the Major Collision Unit.
The driver was bailed to appear at Bendigo Magistrates Court on November 11.
