Woman and 10-year-old girl found dead in car crash on Fraser Coast
A car crashed into a dam on Queensland's Fraser Coast. It killed a 36-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl inside.
Emergency services were called to Springvale Rd in Tinana South on Thursday evening. A blue Subaru Tribeca had crashed into a dam.
A 36-year-old Tinana South woman and a 10-year-old girl were found inside the vehicle. The woman and girl had already died before paramedics arrived.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unknown. Queensland Police's Forensic Crash Unit has begun an investigation.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward. They also want dashcam or CCTV footage from anyone who recorded it.
