Kaiser Reef frees $600K monthly cash after gold loan payoff
Kaiser Reef retired its Auramet gold loan by month's end, immediately releasing $600,000 monthly for growth at two Australian mines.
Kaiser Reef has paid off a gold loan that had tied up $600,000 each month in cash. The company repaid the Auramet International loan on time using cash from its Henty gold mine in Tasmania.
The mine delivered its final 104 ounces of gold this month. The mine's ability to pay the loan shows how far Kaiser has turned around.
Kaiser's only other gold commitment is 50 ounces each month to seller Catalyst Metals through October 2030 for the Henty purchase. The company holds $40 million in cash and gold bullion.
It plans to use the freed cash to expand its Maldon project in Victoria's Golden Triangle.
