Wollongong man sentenced for kicking $800 hole in pub door
Tyson Claude Lubrano, 20, pleaded guilty to property damage after kicking The Grand Hotel's glass door during a drunken dispute.
Tyson Claude Lubrano was asked to leave The Grand Hotel in Wollongong in the early hours of August 9 after his behaviour became disruptive. As he walked towards the exit, he kicked a glass door and shattered it.
The damage was estimated at $800. Hotel staff detained him until police arrived and handcuffed him.
CCTV footage clearly showed Lubrano causing the damage, despite his initial denials. He pleaded guilty to property damage in Wollongong Local Court on September 15.
The judge told Lubrano his behaviour needed to stop. "You were angry, you kicked a glass door and smashed it," the judge said.
"Something is going on and you need to address it before you spiral out of control."
