Royal Australian Mint launches Bluey Dollarbuck cricket coin
The Royal Australian Mint released 200,000 uncirculated Bluey Dollarbuck coins. They feature a cricket scene from the beloved ABC children's show.
The Royal Australian Mint released a new collector coin. It shows Bluey playing cricket with her friend Rusty.
Rusty hits the ball while Bluey cheers in the background. The design comes from season three's Cricket episode.
In that episode, Rusty's dad writes his son a letter about facing challenges head-on. The Mint is producing 200,000 uncirculated coloured coins and 20,000 silver proof coins.
Mint chief executive Emily Martin said the coin celebrates Australia's love of cricket and the series. In 2024, the Mint released three Bluey coins.
One showed Bluey alone. One showed the Heeler family.
One showed Bingo and Bluey dressed as The Grannies.
