Man admits 60km car chase of family over mistaken dog theft
Terrance England chased a family 60 kilometres, convinced they stole his dog. The dog was safe at his camp.
Terrance England was living in bushland at Mitta when he spotted a family stop at Toms Hut. England believed they had taken one of his dogs, named Jeebers or similar.
He chased them for 60 kilometres, overtaking them and forcing them to stop. England's van rolled into a ditch during the chase.
His dog was later found back at his camp, never stolen. The chase left the family, including small children, highly distressed.
