Bandidos member arrested after tobacco shop firebombing goes wrong
A patched Bandidos member was arrested after a tobacco store firebombing. The firebombing critically injured one of the alleged perpetrators.
Two men firebombed The Boss Tobacconist in Melton on September 3. CCTV footage showed them getting out of a white car with jerry cans.
The petrol ignited, engulfing both in flames. One man, aged 23, was left burning as the vehicle fled the scene.
The 23-year-old man was flown to hospital by helicopter in critical condition with severe burns. The ute was later found abandoned and burning about 9 kilometres away.
Detectives arrested multiple people. One was a 32-year-old patched member of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang.
