Six children saved from blazing Perth home; mother charged
Neighbours used a garden hose to fight the fire; one son ran into smoke to rescue six uninjured children.
A fire broke out before 8pm on Friday at a Yangebup home in Perth's south. Neighbours rushed to help, using a garden hose to attack the flames while one man ran into the smoke to rescue six children inside.
Two neighbours, including that man named Joel, were taken to hospital. The children were also taken to hospital as a precaution but were not injured.
