A school bus caught fire in Perth's northern suburbs while on the way to pick up children just after 9am Thursday. Security footage captured the driver pulling over as flames erupted from the vehicle.
The driver jumped out and tried to extinguish the blaze but could not stop it. The fire destroyed the seats, steering wheel and roof, leaving little of the bus intact.
The driver was uninjured and no one else was on board at the time.
