Rod Stewart announces final tour in 2027 before retirement
The legendary rocker will retire after a 21-date European tour starting April 2027.
Sir Rod Stewart, 81, announced he will stop touring after performing for more than six decades. The Final Encore will run across Europe from April to July 2027, starting in Dublin and ending in Hannover, Germany.
The UK dates include Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London. Stewart cancelled several shows this year after heart surgery in August.
He also had earlier health issues including respiratory infection and laryngitis. His wife recently revealed doctors found a blockage during surgery that needed a stent.
Doctors say he recovered well and returned to normal activities.
