Police search for Illawarra man missing since early September
Michael Wunsch, 61, missing from Woonona since September 7; his car was detected on M1 motorway three days later.
Police are appealing for help finding Michael Wunsch, 61, who has been missing from Woonona since September 7. Michael Wunsch's distinctive white 1998 Ford Falcon station wagon with a black bull bar was spotted travelling south on the M1 motorway near Cataract on September 10, roughly 20 kilometres from where he was last seen.
Police and his family are concerned for his welfare. Wunsch is described as Caucasian with a medium build, about 175 centimetres tall, with short grey hair, a grey beard and brown eyes.
He is known to frequent the South Coast around Jervis Bay and Erowal Bay. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
