John Farnham is receiving 24-hour nursing care at home. A star-studded tribute concert in his honour is going ahead at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday night.
Performers include Keith Urban, Tina Arena, Jimmy Barnes and Celine Dion. Farnham will not attend.
He was diagnosed with mouth cancer in August 2022 and underwent major surgery. He was declared cancer free in 2023 and has since retired from the public eye.
