Two Sydney e-bike riders hit by cars, neither wearing helmets

An 18-year-old and 19-year-old Lime rider crashed into vehicles at separate Sydney intersections, both without helmets.

A Lime rider, 18, was hit by a silver Toyota Camry at Oxford St and College St in Surry Hills about 2am on Sunday. The rider was not wearing a helmet.

The impact shattered the windscreen and caused serious injuries. The teen was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Hours earlier, another Lime rider, 19, crashed into a car at Hurstville Rd and Oatley Ave. The second rider also had no helmet. The teenager went to St George Hospital as a precaution.

The drivers in both crashes were uninjured.
