North Ballarat Roosters defeated Lake Wendouree 62-35 to return to the A-grade grand final after a two-year absence.
North Ballarat secured their spot in next week's BFNL A grade grand final by defeating Lake Wendouree 62-35 Saturday. Until late in the year it had been a near-perfect season for the Roosters, but four successive losses came out of the blue.

The grand final rematch with Darley looms next week, with Fitzpatrick noting the earlier heavy loss did not reflect the teams' true level. Lake Wendouree coach Meg Porter acknowledged the skill gap but said the young side showed promise and must improve their ball handling.
