Ballarat premiership captain Kight moves to Springbank league
Braedan Kight, a two-time Ballarat premiership captain, is joining Springbank in a different football league.
Braedan Kight is leaving the Ballarat Football Netball League after many years with his boyhood club. The twice-premiering captain and past leading goalkicker is joining Springbank in the Central Highlands Football League.
Coach Bob Heaney, who has known Kight since junior level, called it 'a real coup'. Kight sought the move due to increased work and family commitments.
Heaney suggested Kight may eventually help coach, and he joins fellow recruit Ryan Davis in bringing senior leadership to a young squad.
