Leapmotor keeps older B10 update from Australian buyers
Leapmotor won't offer international customers the new 800V battery and updated cabin that Chinese buyers have.
Leapmotor International will not offer the latest B10 update released in China. It has faster-charging 800V technology and larger batteries.
The interior is new, with a 17.3-inch screen. Commercial head Danilo Annese said the updated model would be 'completely skipped' internationally.
Australia's B10 launched in late 2025. It stays on the older 400V system.
It has smaller batteries with 361km to 434km of claimed range. The original B10 went on sale in China in April 2025.
The improved version came in July 2026. Annese said changing the vehicle so soon after its launch overseas could confuse buyers.
It could also lower the value of cars people had just bought. Chinese customers expect frequent updates.
But European and Australian markets rely more on longer vehicle lifespans.
