Volunteers launch fresh search for Nannup Four missing since 2007
More than 40 volunteers are searching remote Western Australia for the Nannup Four. These four people went missing in July 2007.
Four people disappeared from the outskirts of Nannup, Western Australia in July 2007. They were Chantelle McDougall, her five-year-old daughter Leela, partner Simon Kadwill, and friend Tony Popic.
Their bank accounts were untouched. Their passports were never used.
In 2017, a coroner's inquest could not say if they were dead or alive. Now more than 40 volunteers are searching a remote stretch of wilderness in WA's South West.
They are looking for answers. The search is led by Find Our Lost Loved Ones.
This group is based in Tasmania. In six months, they have found remains of two missing people.
The volunteers are treating the search area as a potential crime scene.
