Sarah Abo has announced her departure from the Today show.

Sarah Abo confirmed on Wednesday she is leaving the Today show. In a statement, she said becoming a mum has heralded a new chapter and thanked viewers for letting her into their homes each morning.

The breakfast program has faced upheaval: Karl Stefanovic was sacked after interviewing Tommy Robinson. Weatherman Tim Davies has also resigned, with his final broadcast on Friday.
