Migration forum guest praised ABC for amplifying zero-immigration message
A zero-immigration advocate thanked the ABC for letting him speak at its National Forum on migration.
The ABC hosted a National Forum on migration and invited Conrad Gillard of Down Under Reform as one of seven speakers. Gillard runs a petition with almost 30,000 signatures calling for zero immigration until house prices drop.
Gillard told the panel he backed One Nation's migration policy. After the program, Gillard thanked the ABC for letting him "normalise the idea of net-negative immigration".
The ABC said the forum aimed to show "the range of views held in the community" and provided facts to help people form their own views.
