Chayce Jones among three Adelaide players delisted after semi-final loss
Adelaide has delisted Chayce Jones, a former top-10 pick who played 100 games, along with two other players after losing their semi-final.
Adelaide has delisted three players following their semi-final loss to Brisbane. Chayce Jones, the most prominent departure, played 100 games for the Crows after being drafted at pick No. 9 in 2018.
The 26-year-old midfielder leaves after eight seasons with the club. Lachie Sholl, also delisted, played 79 games since joining in the 2018 draft.
Tyler Welsh, a 20-year-old, departs without playing an AFL game. Welsh played 27 matches for Adelaide's SANFL side and is the son of former Crows forward Scott.
Adelaide general manager Jarryd Roughead said Jones was a great personality and a team-first player who will be missed.
