Nine dead in Pennsylvania shooting, including five-year-old and pregnant woman
A gunman fatally shot ten people in Erie, Pennsylvania, before taking his own life.
Eight people from the same family were killed inside a home in Erie, Pennsylvania, including a five-year-old boy, a one-year-old girl, and a woman eight months pregnant. Two additional victims, a relative and family friend, were shot dead in the street after they ran outside seeking help.
A doorbell camera captured the two women pounding on a neighbour's door for assistance moments before the gunman emerged and fatally shot both. The shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
All deaths occurred before police arrived at the scene. Police Chief Rick Lorah, who has served 28 years, said the scene was the worst he has ever experienced.
