Teacher arrested twice in one week over two separate murder plots
Wollongong teacher Ashleigh Ann Seeney arrested twice in five days on murder-related charges in two unrelated plots.
Ashleigh Ann Seeney, 28, was arrested Tuesday hours after being released on bail. She was charged for her role in a fatal shooting in Merrylands West on September 2.
Police say she helped a gunman escape and watched for police before the attack. Ashleigh Ann Seeney was arrested again on a second set of charges related to a different alleged murder plot in West Hoxton.
Police say she shared information about police movements with conspirators, kept them updated on timing, and was told to carry out tasks for the group. Detective Superintendent Jason Box said she worked for an organised crime network targeting a man linked to a rival gang.
The intended victim has been warned of the alleged plot.
