McDonald thriving as second key forward alongside Curnow
Logan McDonald has benefited enormously from playing alongside three-time Coleman Medal winner Charlie Curnow at Sydney.
Logan McDonald joined the Swans in 2020 as a teenager in awe of Lance Franklin. Now he shares the forward line with another superstar in three-time Coleman Medal winner Charlie Curnow.
McDonald said he is grateful for Curnow's mentorship both on and off the field. A superstar key forward of Curnow's ilk roaming around allows McDonald to thrive as the second key forward.
In Sydney's qualifying final win over Brisbane, he booted a career-high six goals. McDonald described Curnow as a good person who has helped bring out the best in his play.
The pair will face Fremantle captain Alex Pearce on Friday night at the SCG in their bid to reach the Grand Final.
