Two critical after police and sedan collide in Bossley Park crash
A police car and sedan collided in Bossley Park, leaving two people in critical condition.
Two people are in critical condition following a collision between a police vehicle and a red Kia sedan in Bossley Park. The crash happened about 45 minutes west of Sydney.
Police were responding under lights and sirens to reports of a child running on Prairie Vale Road at around 12.20pm when the vehicles collided. The Kia and police car each left the road, crashed through a fence, and hit a separate house.
The Kia driver, a woman believed to be in her late 20s, was taken to Westmead Hospital in critical condition. Her passenger, believed to be in her early 50s, was transported to Liverpool Hospital, also critical.
Two male police officers were taken to Liverpool Hospital with minor injuries. No one inside the homes was injured.
Police declared a critical incident with investigations continuing.
