Bowraville murders: Families call for information on 36th anniversary
Families of three murdered children are asking for information. The 36-year-old Bowraville case has a $1 million reward standing.
Colleen Walker-Craig, 16, went missing between September 13 and 15, 1990, from the Aboriginal Mission in regional NSW. Just weeks later on October 4, four-year-old Evelyn Greenup disappeared.
16-year-old Clinton Speedy-Duroux went missing on January 31, 1991. Colleen's body has never been found.
Her clothing was discovered in the Nambucca River. Evelyn's remains were found in April 1991.
Clinton's remains were found in February 1991. Police initially treated the cases as separate.
They later joined them under the Unsolved Homicide Team. A man was charged several times but found not guilty.
A $1 million reward for information was put in place years ago. It is now being reissued with families' support.
Evelyn's mother, Rebecca Stadhams, released a statement. She asked anyone with information to speak up.
