Man escapes bullets in targeted Greenvale shooting
A 28-year-old man dodged multiple gunshots outside his Greenvale home on Tuesday evening in what police say was a targeted attack.
A man escaped unharmed when a gunman opened fire at his home in Greenvale, north Melbourne, on Tuesday evening around 5:50pm. Security footage shows a dark-coloured car pulling up as the man arrived home from work.
A passenger jumped out and fired several shots at him. The 28-year-old ran for safety and dodged the gunfire.
One stray bullet struck a nearby family home. Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack.
They said it was remarkable the man was not hit. This is the second time the man and his family have been targeted.
Just a few weeks earlier, their car was firebombed. A manhunt is underway.
Anyone with security camera or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
