PE teacher charged in connection with mistaken-identity shooting death
PE teacher Ashleigh Ann Seeney has been charged with conspiracy to murder in a shooting that killed Joshua Macdonald on September 2.
PE teacher Ashleigh Ann Seeney, 28, was charged on Tuesday with conspiracy to murder and other offences related to a shooting in Merrylands West. Joshua Macdonald, 40, was killed on September 2 in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.
A car pulled up to a home on Bruce St and a gunman fired several shots through the rear window. Police arrested two men, aged 18 and 19, in West Hoxton on September 11.
A drone uncovered during investigations linked the 18-year-old to the shooting. Seeney was arrested Friday and accused of watching the area and helping the men escape.
She faced court on Wednesday, where bail was revoked. She remains in custody until her court date on November 19.
