Kangaroo Flat defeated Sandhurst 64-54 to secure their second consecutive unbeaten premiership.
Kangaroo Flat's 34-game winning streak ended Saturday with a grand final win over Sandhurst. The Roos led strongly in the second quarter, opening up a 12-goal gap at 38-26 that won the game.
Captain Chelsea Sartori said belief in the team had grown a lot over two years. Coach Jayden Cowling said staying strong in the final quarter mattered after they lost a grand final to Gisborne when they let a big lead slip.
