Mitiamo Superoos complete netball hat-trick with perfect season
Mitiamo won the Loddon Valley A grade premiership, finishing the season with 20 straight wins.
The Superoos defeated Bridgewater 58-46 in Saturday's grand final, finishing with a perfect record: 20 wins, zero losses. Mitiamo has won three consecutive premierships.
Most players are locals who came through the club's junior program, giving Mitiamo stability across the three-year run. Coach Jen Wilson said she was proud the team had produced such sustained success.
Goal shooter Carly Storey was named best on court. Mitiamo is the first club in the Loddon Valley league to win three straight A grade premierships since YCW achieved the feat from 2008 to 2010.
