Russian drone strikes train moments after UK PM's delegation leaves
A Russian drone struck a train near the Poland border minutes after diplomats including Boris Johnson left.
A Russian drone struck a train near Yahodyn station close to the Poland border. The strike came shortly after a diplomatic train carrying former UK prime minister Boris Johnson and former Swedish prime minister Carl Bildt left the station.
The railway operators said the drone likely targeted the diplomats' train, which had departed earlier than usual. The train that was hit was evacuated before the strike.
No one was injured. Johnson and Bildt had been in Kyiv for a security conference.
Another train carrying former CIA director David Petraeus was still at the station when the drone struck. Ukraine's railway company said it constantly adjusts schedules to guard against Russian strikes.
