Fremantle assistant Jaymie Graham takes North Melbourne coaching job
Jaymie Graham, 43, leaves Fremantle's forward line coaching role to become North Melbourne's new senior coach.
Jaymie Graham is set to be unveiled as North Melbourne's senior coach after a lengthy search following Alastair Clarkson's departure. Graham replaces Clarkson, who had one year left on his contract when the club parted ways with him.
The 43-year-old signs at least a three-year deal. Graham has been coaching since 2012 and held roles at St Kilda, West Coast and Fremantle.
He advanced deep into Carlton's and Essendon's coaching searches earlier this year. At Fremantle, he overseeing the forward line and helped develop the club's young tall forwards.
North Melbourne wanted a coach with recent AFL experience from a successful program who could turn the club's talented young list into finals contenders.
