Jaymie Graham, 43, signs three-year deal to coach North Melbourne after being overlooked for other senior roles.
Jaymie Graham, a 43-year-old Fremantle assistant, has been named North Melbourne's new head coach on a deal of at least three years. Graham replaces Alastair Clarkson, who was sacked last month.
Graham had previously pursued coaching jobs at Carlton and Essendon earlier this year but was overlooked in favour of Josh Fraser and Mark McVeigh. Graham has coached a handful of games at AFL level before, filling in at West Coast and Fremantle during his time as an assistant at both clubs.
North wanted a coach with recent experience from a successful environment who could help the club reach a premiership.
