Yarrawonga man charged with making firearms at home
A 40-year-old was arrested after detectives found a machine, gun parts and ammunition allegedly used to make guns.
Detectives searched a Yarrawonga home on Tuesday morning, September 16, and arrested a 40-year-old man at the scene. Police seized gun parts, ammunition, and a machine allegedly used to make guns.
Detectives also found instructions for making guns. Stolen property was also found.
The man was charged with making guns and various property crimes. Police say he had been making guns at the house.
He was held in jail to appear at Shepparton Magistrates Court on Thursday. Illegal gun making puts the public at serious risk.
