Port Fairy signs Brennan and Kerr to fix worst defense
Port Fairy signed Heath Brennan and Harry Kerr to strengthen a defense that conceded the most points in the Hampden league.
Port Fairy finished 10th and conceded more points than any other Hampden league team. The club signed Heath Brennan and Harry Kerr from Queensland Football Association club Carrara to strengthen their defense.
Brennan plays in the midfield defense and has pace and good ball skills. Kerr is a tall defender who can also move into attack.
In 2026, Kerr captained Carrara and played his 100th game for the club. Last year he kicked 41 goals.
Both previously played with Jayden Brennan, Port Fairy's playing assistant coach. Coach Tyrone Ross expects both to play 12-plus games next season.
