HEO raises $37 million in Series B to expand satellite camera network

Sydney startup HEO raised $37 million including $10 million from the federal government to expand its satellite inspection camera operations.

HEO makes cameras that let satellites in orbit inspect other satellites for collisions and debris risks. The Series B funding round was led by defence tech venture capital firm Beaten Zone.

The federal government contributed $10 million to the raise through its flagship industry fund. The capital will help expand HEO's network of non-Earth imaging cameras to Geostationary Earth Orbit.
