Two Canberra teens stabbed in shopping centre brawl
Two boys aged 16 and 17 went to hospital on Friday night. They had non-life-threatening stab wounds from an altercation.
Police responded to reports of males carrying baseball bats at Calwell Shopping Centre on Friday evening around 8:45 pm. A driver told officers she was heading to hospital with two occupants who had been stabbed.
Paramedics treated the boys aged 16 and 17, who had non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe several people were involved in the altercation.
Most had fled before officers arrived. Investigators are asking for help from anyone near the shopping centre between 8:30 pm and 9 pm that night.
