Teen charged after two motorcyclists die in horse float crash
An 18-year-old woman was charged with dangerous driving after a second motorcyclist died in hospital.
A utility towing a horse float flipped and rolled. The utility hit two motorcycles on The Bucketts Way near Nelson Bay on September 20.
One rider died at the scene. Another rider was hurt.
The 72-year-old injured rider died in hospital on Saturday. The 18-year-old driver was taken to Stroud Police Station.
Her breath test result was 0.053. She was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of negligent driving causing death.
She was also charged with one count of negligent driving and driving with illegal alcohol at a low level. She will appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on November 23.
