Canberra courthouse and Services Australia office evacuated over bomb hoaxes

The ACT courthouse in Civic was evacuated after a report about 3.10pm on September 14. Police cordoned off access to Knowles Place.
A second threat was reported about 2.45pm at the Services Australia office on Chandler Street in Belconnen. This office is next to Margaret Timpson Park.
The courthouse and Services Australia office were searched by about 4.40pm. Both buildings were found safe.
Police found no suspicious items at either location. Police said they don't believe the incidents are related.
